The big bear is not very well at the minute

The big bear is not feeling very well at the minute. So much so that he has not gone into his school today, instead he has stayed at home, and snuggled Rodney all day. The little bear had to go to his school though. Bow wow.

The big bear stayed at home and has watched the tele, and played on the computer, and when he suddenly realised that the little bear was coming back from his school soon, he got all excited.

The little bear got in, and bounded up the stairs, and gave the big bear a kiss (on the cheek so as not to get germs) and a cuddle, that made him feel a bit better.

But the big bear still has a blocked nose and is not feeling very well, which means grumpyness. It's ok though, because the little bear is being very patient with the big one, because he knows what it is like to be not very well.

The big bear dosen't know if patience and cuddles will help him get less ill any sooner, but it does make him feel much better in another way.

Isn't it funny, two boys in a bed

Some times when the bears are snuggling the little bear turns round and he says "isn't it funny, two boys in a bed". Maybe he wonders what people might think if they saw two bears in a bed together.

But sometimes men share a bed and there is nothing funny going on at all, they just do not have a lot of places to sleep and don't mind sleeping next to each other and that is ok. But then I suppose if the two men did not like each other at all one of them might sleep on the floor instead. It is a bit confusing isn't it. But I think in history men slept in beds together all of the time and no-one batted an eyelid.

So maybe it's all right really for the bears to sleep in a bed together.

But then perhaps it is different with the big bear and the little bear in a bed with each other really. I mean, they do kindof feel a bit special about each other in a funny way. Because they love each other and like to snuggle up and that makes them feel safe and warm at at home.

Perhaps some people think that two bears should not feel nice and safe and warm in a bed together while they are snuggling. Perhaps that's why little bear says "Isn't it funny...".

But I think it's ok really, two boys in a bed, because they love each other.
