Rings and things

Big bear and little bear want to get rings so that everyone will be able to see that they love each other lots and lots and are together for ever.

They went play shopping for rings one time, and it was quite exciting, and lots and lots of fun, but the bears were just playing at getting the rings, they were not really going to buy rings that day. It was wonderfully exciting. The ladies in the shop made sure that they had the right sizes for their fingers, and let them try on all different sorts of rings to see what they looked like and fussed over both of the bears and it was lovely.

That was a bit ago, but now they are seriously going to get rings, but it is a little bit different when you are looking to get rings for seriousness. It is a bit exciting, but a bit scary at the same time.

The bears went to a lovely shop, with a nice lady who was very good and nice to the bears and showed them the rings that were there, and the bears were able to remember the time that they bought ones before and remember the ones that they liked and it was exciting but a bit edgy at the same time because the bears were really thinking about buying them this time.

Maybe it was edgy because nice rings cost lots of money, but that isn't important because they are something that the bears will wear for the rest of their lives. But it is hard not to worry sometimes isn't it.

Big bear and little bear want to be with each other, but maybe that is the thing that is a bit scary really. The bears do want to spend time together and snuggle and be there for ever and ever, maybe the funny thing is letting everyone see that, and telling mummies and daddies that they are going to be together for ever.

I suppose that it is scary because it won't be just a secret that the bears love each other, because everyone will be able to see the rings on their fingers.

What does it mean when big bear gets butterflies in his tummy about getting a ring on his finger?

Sleeping together all night long

As I am sure you know, once upon a time quite a little while ago, when the bears met, they were really rubbish at sleeping together all night long.

They tried lots of things; futons, and single beds, and single malts.

In the end they managed it with making a super-king-sized bed by pushing two beds together, and with a Swedish furniture shops mattress topper thing, and with some string, and with lots and lots of pillows, and with at least two duvets, and with cuddling up like spoons.

And after a while, they got used to that and it was ok. But then little bear moved into a house where there wasn't two beds that the bears could put together, so they had to come up with another plan. With a lot of practicing, they managed to sleep nicely in a kingzised bed, with lots of pillows, with at least two duvets, and with cuddling like spoons, and a few grumpy nights along the way.

Maybe one day they will get into a double for all of the night, but then perhaps they will have to find something to do with their arms, and perhaps eat a bit less!

Bears and freinds who come and go

Friends are important because both the big bear and the little bear like to have them about to have fun times with and talk and play games and share food with.

Some of the friends that they have they have met on the interweb and chatted to them in websites and things like that, which can be a quite nice thing to do after school. Well, lots better than watching the tele anyway.

Some of their interweb friends become real life friends, but then the bears are very safe about meeting in 'propriate places and things like that so don't you worry. They have met some nice friends like that.

Some of their friends they have met in real life, and not on the interweb at all, which is a funny way for people to meet people nowadays isn't it.

But sometimes the bears friends have to go away from where the bears are. This can make the bears sad. Bears friends might have jobs that take them to other places, and they might have to be with people that they like a lot, or they might just sort of stop being around, or they might only meet the bears for a week on their holidays.

Sometimes even the friends that were interweb friends go away too, and that is the way of it I suppose.

The bears friends that stay around are sometimes the friends that if they did not think much about it they might think are the ones that would go away. The ones that go that they always thought would stay. And then sometimes those that seemed to have gone away turn up never to have left in the first place.

It is not like a bear to think about friends with their brains too much, or come to think of it about anything with their brains too much really. The bears have friends to talk with and play with and eat with so that is ok and enough of this silly thinking business.
