Big Bear has job interviews in Edinburgh

As you might well remember, the Big one applied for some jobs in Edinburgh. And as it turns out, two of the jobs want Big bear to come to interview. Which is very exciting! The Big one is very excited!

He has gone out and got a new suit, and polished his shoes, and ironed his shirt, and borrowed some of Little's bestest ties to wear, and printed out all the paperwork that he might need.

Then the Big one came to the interview days. And on the first one, he was early, and he looked in an art gallery that was in the same building as the job, and then got a coffee from a coffeshop, where the lady at the counter was nice.

And the big bear was very nervous, but thinks that it went ok.

And for the second interview day he arrived a bit earlier, and had lunch in the coffeehshop and the same lady was there at the counter and she was nice again.

Big one was nervous again, but there were just two people, and he hopes that it was good.

Who knows what will happen with these jobs. The bear has funny mixed feelings about all this coming and going...

Bigs is applying for jobs in Edinburgh

As you know, Big lives miles away from Little (about fifty-two miles). Well, the Big has applied for some jobs in the same town that Little lives in. They look good. If Big got one of them it might mean that he can move through to Little's town very soon. They they can get a house together and have lots of snuggles, and it will be perfect.

Big Bear looks forward to this lots and lots. But then sometimes Big thinks about all the nice things that he has in the town where he lives at the minute, and how nice they are, and how when he goes to school all day he has lots of fun, and how he does not really know what it would be like being in the same town as Little, and how things are ok at the minute, and how things would be oh so different if he got the jobs.

Then Big thinks about how much he would love being with Little and how nice it would all be, and how much fun all the jobs would be to get.

Then Big bear worries about what it would be like moving.

And then Big bear remembers why Little bear calls him a silly thing.

Walking around a lake

Today the big bear and the little bear went for a walk around a lake. They were with the lb's mum and dad for the weekend to spend some time because it is nice to spend time together as a family. It was a cold day so they were all wearing coats and hats and scarfs and layers and things.

They all walked down the hill from the car and past the little beaches by the side of the lake, and through the trees. They walked around the headland then they went over the wooden duck boards above the marshes, all the way to a bridge over a river and along the road to the nice hotel for lunch.

Then they walked all the way back that they came, and the bb was worried about going up the hills because the bb is not very good at going up hills. But it was alright, because at the end little bear helped by pushing big bear up the hill when he was tired, which little bear quite liked because he had something to lean on. So they were both quite happy.

And even though it was snowing and the big bear had unzipped his coat and his cardigan and taken off his wooly hat and his scarf he was still a little bit sweaty!
