Sleepovers on Sunday

Nearly every single weekend the bears have a sleepover party.

They get together, and they have lots of snuggles. They tend to snuggle facing each other up close and warm for a bit, then like spoons, and then facing up to each other close for a bit, and then a bit more like spoons, and then to sleep.

They cuddle up on Friday night, and they cuddle up on Saturday night, and it is lovely.

But mostly that sleepover party wasn't on Sunday nights, which made the bears sad. They just had two nights to snuggle.

Sleepovers on a Sunday night would mean travelling early in the morning to school. That would mean tired on Mondays, and maybe being a bit more grumpy, and bears are not good when they are grumpy.

But the bears decided to try it.

And they found out that the Monday morning snuggle is the best in the world.

Big bear and little bear and telling their mummies and daddies...

So now that the bears have decided to go and buy rings, they need to tell their mummies and daddies that they are wanting to spend the rest of their lives together.

As you know they wanted to get them all together, but that never happened, so it was a bit funny.

So big bear and little bear told big bears parents in their kitchen, in front of the warm stove. BB cried and cried, and he did not know why he cried he just did. And BB's mummy and daddy were ok about it all but they looked a bit confused and BB could see that they were not as excited about it all really as he had hoped. So he was a bit sad. Quite a bit sad.

When the bears told the rest of BB's family everyone was a bit quiet. It is funny when people are quiet isn't it. It makes it easy to worry.

They told little bears mummy and daddy in the pub over meal, and they were lovely about it all and wanted to buy a bottle of champagne but couldn't because of the driving. That made everyone feel a bit nicer about it. I mean the them being lovely about it bit, not the not having the champagne bit.
