Little Bear has a new toy called Johansson

Johnasson was LB's newest toy. She is very clever.

She is a box that sits in the bear mobiles and tells where to go. When to turn left and right and things. She never gets lost because she listens to some satellites in the sky and works out where she is and because she has lots of maps in her brain.

One very important thing about Johansson is that she prevents the lb and the bb from getting cross with each other when trying to find somewhere in the bear mobiles, so that they don't end up standing outside the car by the side of the road hitting each other with rolled up maps, and it never happens that one of the bears leaves the other standing there in the rain and drives off very fast. Oh no.

Ooh! Then all of a sudden little bear discovered that there was a new type of Johansson in the shops (and she was not very well). So he took Johansson back so that he could get a new one! Everyone was very surprised.

Big bear was especially worried that Johansson would be upset, but little bear said that it was ok because she was stored cleverly inside his 'pooter, and was quite happy there, and that she would be in charge of the new box when it comes. That will be nice.

Little Bears is making new friends

Little bear makes friends on the internet just like big bear. He made some freinds that lived miles and miles away and they came to visit the same town that little bear lives in on holiday and they went out with the little bear and sat in a nice pub and had some beers.

Little bear and his freinds talked about normal things like their jobs and where they live and what they do with their lives and things. And then little bear went home to bed, because it was a school night and he had a busy day the following day.

But little bear spoke to the big bear and said he was worried that his new friends didn't like him and thought that he was just a silly thing and not very interesting and things like that. Big bear told him that he was beings a silly thing, because of course they liked him, or they wouldn't have gone out for the beers in the first place!

But little bear was still a bit worried. Until the new friends sent the little bear a message to his telephone saying hello and asking him how he was and things like that. And the little bear replied. And then the new friends sent more messages and things.

Bigs asked the little one if he thought that really they did like him, and he said that he supposed that they did, and that that was a nice thing. Littles likes it when people like him.

bb & lb in the lakes

The bears went to the lake district for a lovely holiday for a long weekend. Phew it was a busy holiday but a nice one!

On the first day that they were there they went walking all around a lake.

On the next day they slept in a did not very much and cuddled all day.

On the next day after that they went for a long walk, and had a packed lunch, and went for a sunbathe next to a lake, and went for a swim in one of the lakes too, splash splash splash, and then went out for a nice tea.

LB was very sensible and wore suntan cream, but BB didn't. But LB was sunburned, and BB wasn't. But they both made sure that they wore white shirts when they went into school to show off their sun tans.

Silly bears!

Emotions are funny-in-a-strange-way

Sometimes big bear is like an Eyore and sometimes he is like a Tigger. And sometimes being the Tigger can be just as funny-strange as being the Eyore. And sometimes both at once is really funny-strange!

Big doesn't understand why he's like that or what makes it happen. It just does. Little bear thinks that it is because BB is hungry, but whenever LB says that it tends to make BB worse. Who would have thought it.

That said when LB gives the BB some food it tends to make it a bit better. Maybe that is why the BB is quite a round bear.

Sometimes little bear is moody and goes in a sulk. This is mostly when things don't go just the way that he wants them to! He folds his arms and sticks out his bottom lip and goes all moody-moody-moody-MOO-DEE.

It is hard when the big bear can't do the thing that the little bear wants. When that happens big bear has to remember that it is because when things don't work out the way that little bear thinks that they should that it is a bit like gravity not working or the world falling apart a bit, and that is not the little bears fault.

So both the bears are a bit funny really, but they quite suit each other in a funny way. And BB is going to see LB tonight, so that will make them both smile like it is on a sunny day.

Tavelling and selling things

A nice man called the Big bear and said would the Big bear like to be interviewed for a big job selling kitchens. And so BB was excited and agreed a time.

BB talked to Little bear. And Little bear said do you want to sell kitchens? And BB said that's right, I don't want to sell kitchens, I am a silly bear.

Big bear called to say he was sorry and would not be able to come. But instead the nice man talked all about the things that they did, how the job was really exciting, and how they were able to earn lots and lots and lots of money with the loans and the payment protection plans and of course with the kitchens. The big bear wanted to go to see what it was like.

So BB was quite excited. He put a new tie on. There was a big office just like in that film with Al Pacino and Jack Lemmon where they swear lots. There were boards with sales figures on, and the really good salesmen get to win a holiday!

But when BB looked around the place where they were he could see that it was not very tidy. In fact, it was a bit messy. The files for the customers were sitting in a cardboard box on a desk. With no lid. And the box was ripped a bit. And the files were falling out.

But there was a nice brand new pool table there, so that must mean it must have all been ok.

BB and the nice man talked for a bit, and the nice man gave the BB a brochure and his telephone number, and told him that BB could start as soon as he wanted, and be straight on a training course. BB was very pleased that someone wanted him for a job.

LB pointed out that it was still a job selling kitchens. And BB had to agree that he was right.

Not getting jobs in Edinburgh

Big bear did not get the job he was interviewed for.

He was all excited after it as well. In his head he had planned all the move over there, and what kind of place the bears would live in, and the kind of things that they would do in the evenings together, and where they would do their shopping and all sorts.

Then BB had then to go away with his work and do lots of busyness for a few days, which meant that he forgetted all about the job thing on one level... but in a funny way he was still really optimistic that he would have it inside.

And then when he got him he saw that the job didn't want him. And he was cross with the people, and called them lots of rude words, and stamped his feet and stomped around the place and was the grumpus. A BIG grumpus.
