The Bears seem to be spending a lot of time with their families

The bears may be a bit old for going on holiday with their families, but they do seem to be doing it an awful lot. 

For the summer time they went on a family holdiday with lots of people. It was a nice cheap holiday to have!

The bears went on holiday with nieces who are fun to play games with. With grandparents like to talk about things but are not very well sometimes because they are a bit old. With brothers bring kites (but the bears got a better one after he had gone home). And with sisters and brothers in law are, well, a bit boring, and sit there and read newspapers a lot.

The problem was that it rained. So the neices and the grandparents and the brothers and the sisters and the brothers in law stayed inside and had a picnic in the house. But it was a small house, and everyone got under everyone elses feet.

When it was nice enough, they all went for a nice boat ride that the little bear organised, and it was lots of fun for the little bear and the neices, but granny and grandad were feeling a bit queasy in the boat, and big bear was bored so he went to sleep.

They did all enjoy going for afternoon teas though, in nice posh hotels, with cucumber sandwiches with their crusts cut off. Oh bears do like food, and so do bears families!

Then come the in the middle of the winter time the bears went and stayed with little bears mum and dad at their house, and little bears brother came to stay, and it was all very lovely. Apart from the times when little bears brother and little bears mum were both in the kitchen together. At those times they both had to do things their way (a bit like a little bear!) and neither of them would back down (a bit like little bear too). Thank goodness little bear wasn't in the kitchen as well.

The funny thing is that when the bears got home from all these family things they were so so tired from all the fun that they had had. Maybe next time the bears will go on holiday without so many people from the family.

Big Bear writes this for the Little Bear but he dosen't really read this

Yes, when the big bear writes these stories, he is thinking about how much he loves the little bear. It is nice whe the little bear reads them, but it is ok if he dosen't.

After all, you are reading these stories, so that is all right.

Rodney, Krokodil and Flodhaast

Rodney is a large polar bear, he came home with the big bear one time when the little bear was doing lots of work at home, and the big bear couldn't be there to look after the little bear or to snuggle, so that the little bear could snuggle Rodney instead. That was lovely.

Big and little bear sometimes shop in a big blue shop that sells things for the house. The shop has nice meatballs and chips that the little bear has, while the big one has the salad. Well in that shop there were some crocoldile cuddly things, called Krokidol. Well, there was one of them that looked at little bear in a particular way, so they took him home.

As it turned out, that was the same day that little bears granny who he loved a lot died. Little bear cuddled Krokodil a lot that day.

Flodhast is one of the newest toys, one that came from the big blue shop as well. Flodhast is a hippo. Hippos are the most dangerous animals in Africa, big one read, but in the shop Flodhast was so lovely, with big eyes and pink spots that he came him home with the bear. Flodhast is Krocodil's best freind and keeps him company.

While the animals are lovely, they do cause some trouble. When the bears are out of the house they run around and play lots. In the week when big bear is away at his house far away, they mess up the house. They take lots of glasses of milk upstairs and leave them around in the bedroom, and they take little bears pants and socks and spread them all around the house. Thank goodness big bear comes and tidys them up at the weekends with little bear.

But mostly they are nice cuddly animals for the bears to snuggle. And while they are not the same to snuggle as a bear, at least they don't wiggle in the night or make snuffling noises!

Lickey eybrow

At night-time the bears often have their loveliest snuggles. Then they are all tired and warm and they just lie very close together and do not think of anything other than how much they love each other and how lovely it is to be close and nice and warm.

Sometimes the little bear snuggles into the big bears chest, sometimes they wiggle about a bit, and sometimes the big bear snuggles into the little one's chest. The big bear likes them all, but especially the last one. Big bear can tuck himself up under the little's chin, and then there is little bear all round the big one on every side and it feels so lovely.

Then the little bear kisses the big bear on his forehead, and the big one knows that the little one loves him lots and lots.

But then, just when it is all lovely, the little bear starts licking things! He starts licking the big bears eyebrow! It is very funy, a bit wet, and slippy, and feels very tickly. The little bear likes the way that it feels, to have the hairy eyebrow in his mouth, to taste it and thing like that.

For the big one though it is awfully tickly, and tends to wake the big bear up from the sleepy cuddlyness. But it is ok, because big knows that it means little loves him. And little dosen't do it that often!
