the rodney

The Rodney is a very important snuggle. One time, the little bear and the big bear were both very busy. There was no way that the bears could spend time together for ages, so the big bear went out and found Rodney. Rodney is a baby polar bear, a real one. He's quite lazy, and tends to sleep a lot, but one thing that Rodney likes is snuggling.

So. The little bear was all by himself and busy, so he snuggled Rodney. And he found that he could snuggle Rodney all night long, and that they would both love it lots and lots. Rodney would lie on his back, and little bear would put one arm behind Rodney's head, and the other arm around his chesty-necky area, and pretty soon the little bear snggled Rodney every night.

Then there came one day, when both of the bears were in bed snuggling, and the big bear shuffled down the bed a little bit and lay on his back. And all of a sudden, little bear leaned forward, and he was snuggling the big bear just like he was Rodney, and it was lovely.

The best bit about a Rodney-snuggle is that the big bear can lie on his back, all relaxed and floppy, and not worry about anything in the world, feeling looked after, as the little bear has him safe and sound all over. And the little bear gets to stroke the big bears big hairy chest something which, if you know the little bear, you know he likes lots and lots.
