little bear does sleepy portalling some times

The little bear likes to stay up late, all of the time. He never goes to sleep in the day, no not little bear.

But sometimes the little bear does get quite tired. Then he sits on the sofa, all comfy, maybe slouched down a bit, and closes his eyes, like he is having a think.

Things go all slow for the little bear then, and he dosen't like to talk a lot. If you ask if he is awake he says:

mmmyesmmmI'mmmawakemmm

in a funny little voice that sounds like someone who is asleep!

Big bear has experimented like a scientist on the little bear when he is like this. 

Big bear tried prodding the little bear first with his finger. The little bear made funny moaning noises and told the big to go away because he is awake and does not need prodding. Then when the big carried on the little got quite uppity.

Bigs discovered that the best thing to do is agree that the little bear is awake, but bring him some blankets and some nice pillows and maybe take him through to the bedroom and lie him down for a nice cuddle. Not for a sleep, no, just to make him comfy while he's awake, you see. 

Because little bears always stay up late, and never, ever, sleep in the day.
