Little bear falls into the stream

One time big bear and little bear were going on a drive. They saw a pretty waterfall and decided that they wanted to go and see it.

So they went for an explore and a little potter over a bridge and around a path and up a hill. There was a fast stream that came from the waterfall that they crossed, where they held hands and jumped across the stones and got to the other side.

Up the hill they went, it was not very far, but the little bear was at the top quicker than the big bear. Little is better at doing things like climbing hills. They took lots of nice photos and then came back down again.

They got back to the fast stream and big bear went across it quickly step step step and got to the other side all nicely. The little bear was more careful though, with the camera in his pocket.

Little carefully stretched out and his paw over to the other side and big bear started to walk down the hill.

But there was a great big SPLASH and big bear turned around to see little bear standing in the middle of the stream. Oh dear, and as you will know there is nothing little bear hates more than being wet!

Well, the little bear does hate a sore throat more than being wet. Well, if little bear had a sore throat AND was wet as well it would be worse still. But little bear does not like being wet, and he was standing in the middle of the stream with his trousers and boots all soaking. Silly little bear!

But it was ok, because the bears laughed and laughed, and the camera was not wet at all. Little bear squelched his way to the bear-mobile, and took off his trousers and boots and socks and sat there all pink and hairy in his under-crackers.

The bears turned up all the heating in the car, but it just made it hot, and littles trousers were still dripping wet. But then the bears found a toilet and big bear left the little bear in the bear mobile and went in to dry littleses trousers on the hand dryer.

Little couldn't dry his own trousers you see because he was all pink and hairy with nothing on his bottom half.

It took about half an hour to get the trousers dry, but then they were nice and warm and the little bear was toasty roasty and all happy again, and the bears went off for more adventures.
